How do you determine VSEPR formula?

A --> Central Atom
Xn --> number of bonding electrons
En --> number of lone pairs

The VSEPR formula is AXnEm, where A is the central atom, Xn represents the atoms attached to the central atom, and Em represents the lone electron pairs.

A helpful way I found to learning how to come up with the VSEPR formula for a molecule was by looking at different examples of lewis structures and their corresponding formulas.
