Do we need to know T shaped geometry even if Dr. Lavelle didn’t go over it in lecture?

I would assume that you would need to know T-shaped geometry, since it is the structure of many molecules, such as ClF3, where the Chlorine would have 3 bonded pairs with Fluorine, but 2 lone electron pairs, creating a T-shape.

Just learn all of the possible molecular shapes presented as you don't know which ones will be on the test and don't want to be caught unawares.
