can someone briefly explain VSEPR

VESPR is a model used to predict the geometry of molecules based on minimizing the electrostatic repulsion of a molecule's valence electrons around the central atom.

An even simpler explanation is that it is basically the shapes of molecules when taking in consideration that electrons have repulsion and that a molecule tries to minimizes this repulsion by arranging its bonds and lone pairs that it has around the central atom. Its basically just a very simple drawing of how a molecule looks with its bonds and lone pairs.

VSEPR stands for valence shell electron pair repulsion, and it is used in order to model for different structures of molecules. It is used in order to predict the shape for a molecule as well as the bond angles. It takes in both the amount of electron density and the number of lone pairs and bonded pairs. Out of these, you can solve the VSEPR model for the molecule, and you can also determine if it's non-polar or polar.

VSEPR is meant to describe the structural geometry of molecules in a 3 dimensional plane. It also shows regions of electron density.
