Can anyone reply with the subjects that are being covered on test 2? I'm confused about whether it is cumulative and if not, what specific topics it is covering.

Test 2 will cover everything from the midterm up until the information from Monday's (11/18) lecture, which includes intermolecular forces, VSEPR, and sigma and pi bonding.

also it's not cumulative nor will it include hybridization

It covers only the material learned after the midterm. Thankfully it’s not too much content!

Do you know if hybridization is going to be covered on the final?

The final is cumulative, so yes I'm assuming hybridization will be covered on the final.

Test 2 starts off with materials covered after the midterm. I remember the lecture that did not count for the midterm included the topics of dipole dipole moments and polarization. Every topic after that moment will possibly be on the second test up to sigma and pi bonds that is supposed to be covered on Monday. I hope that answered your question.
