Do we have to know both the Molecular and Electronic Geometry associated with the A-X-E notation?

Yes, it is better to know both since they were both covered in lecture.

I believe it's very possible that we'll be asked to reproduce the A-X-E notation, especially since Lavelle writes it out almost each time he does an example in lecture!
