Predict the bond angles at the central atom of the following molecules and ions: (a) ozone, O3; (b) azide ion, N32; (c) cyanate ion, CNO2; (d) hydronium ion, H3O1.

Ozone is bent, so its bond angle is slightly less than 120 degrees
Azide is linear, so its angle is 180 degrees
Cyanate is also linear, so its angle is 180 degrees
Hydronium's electron density is tetrahedral, so its angle is slightly less than 109.5 because the lone pair on top pushes down on the hydrogens
