Midterm 2 covers all material after MT1 to the end of Outline 3 (Chemical Bonds). The outlines can be found on his syllabus and they tell the specific topics of what you should know for the midterm. As well as additional textbook problems to consider.

Should we expect midterm 2's difficulty to be the same as midterm 1 or will it be harder?

Hello!

The second midterm will be covering many more topics than the first midterm, so in terms of content, there should be a lot more to study for!

Midterm 2 will be during our discussion during Week 7. In terms of difficulty, it seems like there will be more questions, but each question will be worth less points. The TAs and UAs said that this means there probably won't be partial credit for this midterm.

I also heard that this midterm will be more conceptual, which to me, seems to be a bit harder.

I thinks this midterm is going to be less math based, so how are you guys studying for it?

For Midterm 2 we should expect to see any material after MT1 to the end of outline 3.

I'm studying by going over the concepts in his outlines and seeing if I am able to explain it correctly without looking at other resources.
