This sulfite ion in VSEPR model notation is AX3E, so the molecular geometry will be trigonal pyramidal.

The sulfite ion would be a trigonal pyramid, because it is bonded to three Oxygen atoms and also has a lone pair.

Trigonal pyramid, because there are 3 bonding pairs with Oxygen, and 1 lone pair on S.

It would be a trigonal pyramid due to information given of the three oxygen bonded with the sulfur along with one lone pair.

Since the S has 3 oxygen bonded to it, we know it would be trigonal and along with the lone pair on S we can deduce that the shape is trigonal pyramidal.

The shape would be trigonal pyramidal since the S has 3 oxygens bonded and one lone pair attached to it.

Hi! This would be trigonal planar because there are 3 oxygens bonded to sulfur plus a lone pair.

Using the hybridization and angles chart, you would be able to see that the steric number is 3 since it is a total of three bonds, and with no lone pairs, it would make the choice a trigonal planar!
