Can someone please help with this question:

Draw the three possible structures of C3H4
. Be sure to include all atoms.

Each of the structures for the molecule you wrote is a resonance structure for that compound. Some of the carbon atoms in that compound may bond to each other in a variety of ways: these ways include single, double, and triple bonds. You may also arrange them in a ring structure if that is possible to draw on the online apparatus you are using. Be creative, but make sure to work within the confines of the rules of bonding stability.

Echoing what the person above me said, just think about the different bonds you can use between carbons and also whether you can make it a ring structure.

Consider the different about of bonds carbon can have and if they can form a ring structures. As a hint the carbons may form a trigonal shape.

Hey! I was struggling too. Someone advised me to connect the three carbons in a triangle. The triangle should have only one double bond. Then attach the hydrogens accordingly.

For this question make sure you take into consideration all the possible types of bonds that could used. You should also consider the arrangement you put the molecules in. Also make sure if there are any rings that you can form. Good Luck!

Honestly, for me it was just attempting different formations and checking to see if it worked. I just moved around the bonds till I found three possible ones that worked.

I think the one you might be missing is using a ring of a triangle to connect the carbons together. This should help you get that last resonance structure.
