On the test, if we are asked to give the shape of a molecule, do we give the electron-group shape name, or the molecular shape?

I think he's more likely to ask for the molecular shape. Either could be on the test, but the question will have to specifically state which is being asked for.

Most often if asked to give the shape of the molecule, I would state its molecular shape unless asked to say otherwise.
