Electron Geometry

How do I tell the difference between electron geometry and a compound's actual shape?

Electron geometry includes all regions of electron density (bonding and lone pair).

The shape/name is based on only the position of the bonding regions of electron density.

Students can still watch my Chem 14A lectures on CCLE for this quarter.
