Hybridization and Resonance
Will the central atom of a molecule with different resonance structures always have the same hybridization? I believe the logic makes sense, since we are not moving around any atom connectivities, but I'm wondering if there are any special cases where this may change.

Re: Hybridization and Resonance
Hi! The structure of a molecule with resonance doesn't change, so the hybridization shouldn't either. I don't think there are any exceptions to this.

Re: Hybridization and Resonance
The hybridization wouldn't change in these scenarios, because as you said none of the atom connectivities are really changing.

Yes that's right if the bonds and connections aren't really changing it stays the same.
