Different configurations for the same amount of electrons

Postby 106522470 » Thu Nov 07, 2024 7:28 pm

Can you write [Ar] and also write [Ne]3s^2 3p^2, or are there certain times where you would need to write it one way or the other? This is just an example, I'm asking for all configurations.
