### HW Problem 4.77

This homework problem mentions antibonding orbitals. Can someone please explain antibonding orbitals and how they are different from bonding orbitals? Thank you!

We skipped molecular orbital theory so I don't think we have to do this problem.

Ch 4 has a lot of molecular orbital theory problems, but Dr Lavelle said we won't go over them since there's not enough time!
