Can someone explain how you determine the relative orientation of orbitals such as in 31

Question 31
State the relative orientations of the following hybrid orbitals: (a) sp3 (b) sp (c) sp3d2 (d) sp2

The number of hybrid orbitals is equivalent to the number of electron density regions when looking at VSEPR structures. For example, sp3 would have 4 equivalent orbitals, and with 4 regions of electron density, the most stable shape would be tetrahedral. Similarly, with sp3d2, the most stable shape would be octahedral.

Lone pairs count as a region of electron density
2 regions of electron density = sp
3 regions = sp^2
4 regions = sp^3
5 regions = sp^3d
6 regions = sp^3d^2
