Re: Bond types
Hydrogen bonds
Polar covalent bonds
Non polar covalent bonds
Ionic bonds
Hydrogen: it’s when an oxygen, nitrogen, or fluorine atom with a lone pair interacts with the hydrogen bonded to another nitrogen, oxygen, or fluorine atom.
Polar covalent: a covalent bond where a pair of electrons are not equally shared between atoms. This is due to one atom having higher electronegativity than the other. For example H sharing with Cl
Non polar covalent: equal sharing of electrons. For example C sharing with C
Ionic bonds: When oppositely charged ions closely associate, usually in a crystal lattice
Hope this helped!

Re: Bond types
My guess is yes, and it is usually helpful to know what force is being used when completing a problem. :)

Re: Bond types
Hydrogen bonds occur when an O,N or F atom that has a lone pair interacts with the H that is bonded to another N,O or F atom.
Polar covalent bonds occur when a pair of electrons aren't equally shared between atoms and it's from one atom having a higher electronegativity than the other
Non polar covalent bonds occur with equal sharing of electrons
Ionic bonds occur when oppositely charged ions associate with each other
