d Orbital
Will we need to know how to draw d orbitals and know their shapes? I know that we need to know this for the s and p orbitals but I was wondering what exactly we need to focus on for the d orbitals.

Re: d Orbital
I don't think we'll need to know how to draw the d orbital because it's complex compared to s and p

Re: d Orbital
I think as long as you can recognize them, and understand the concept of hybrid d-orbitals you should be good!

I don't think we will need to draw them, but it might be a good idea to look over what they look like.

Re: d Orbital
Lavelle said we wouldn't need to draw them but it is probably recommended that you know the shapes
Re: d Orbital
We do work with d orbitals, but I believe that we do not have to know how to draw out complex d orbitals for this class!
