### d-block

In hybridization, when combing the s, p and d block where does that hybridization fall in terms of energy compared to the regular electron configuration ?

In terms of energy It would be in between the energy levels of the s p and d orbitals, just as how 2sp is in between s and p.

The energy will be between the orbitals because it is an average of the orbitals that are hybridizing.

when the orbitals aren't listed in the "s-p-d-f" order, which is preferred?
