Homework Outline for Test

Postby Alison Trinh 1E » Sun Nov 17, 2019 2:46 pm

Which homework outlines should we be focusing on in preparation for Test 2?

I think the majority of the test will be material from the molecular shape and structure homework.

Since Test 2 is on the material we learned after the midterm, it should be focused on the Molecular Shape and Structure homework outline.

The majority of the test will probably focus mainly on outline 4 (molecular shape and structure) and a little bit of material from outline 3 may be on there too since things like London forces, dispersion forces, etc. were covered after the midterm I believe.

If I remember correctly, the specific topics would be intermolecular forces, the VSEPR model, and pi and sigma bonds. I believe that hybridization won't be tested.

The test will be on VSEPR and IMF, which I believe are Focus 2E and 3F.
