The question asks to "State the relative orientations of each of the following hybrid orbitals: a) sp^3; b) sp; c) sp^3d^2; d)sp^2."
I don't really understand how to go about this question, could someone explain how to get the answer please.

I think its asking where the orbitals are pointing. For example, sp2 orbitals are pointing towards the corners of an equilateral triangle and form bond angles of 120.

Yes I think the question is asking for the orientation of the orbitals. It is asking if they oriented towards the corners or opposite of each other.

The orientation of the orbitals will be facing outwards, so 120 degrees
