A pi bond is stable and stays between two particular atoms of the molecule. On the other hand, a delocalized pi bond moves between various atoms in the molecule and therefore shows resonance.

Also due to the delocalization of pi electrons in a pi bond, the molecule becomes more stable because the electron density is spread over a larger area.

Delocalized pi bonds just denote resonance as they can move around a molecule while pi bonds just stay at one molecule
