Does anyone know the difference between paramagnetism and diamagnetism?

Re: Paramagnetism vs. Dimagnetism
Diamagnetism is when something is repelled by a magnetic field whereas paramagnetism is when something is attracted to a magnetic field.
Re: Paramagnetism vs. Dimagnetism
Hello! So the difference between these two is that paramagnetism are materials with unpaired electrons that align their magnetic moments with an external magnetic field which leads to a weak attraction. Also! another think I learned is that paramagnetism is temperature dependent.Diamagnetism are materials with all electrons paired which develop a weak magnetic moment opposite to the applied magnetic field. Also, another thing I learned is that paramagnetism is temperature dependent and diamagnetism is independent of temperature.
