what is the importance of hund's rule in determining paramagnetic behavior?

Hands rule shows how every orbital in a sub level is singly occupied before any orbital is doubly occupied. we learn that all of the electrons in singly occupied orbitals have the same spin. consequences from hinds rule are the existence of magnetic elements.
