Naming Ligands
Also when naming ligands do we have to just memorize their oxidation state in order to do the calculations? Also each ligand follows the greek prefix when naming the compounds?

Yes, we need to memorize the charges carried on common ligands. i doubt they will give us those numbers. And yes they all use the greek prefix.
