tips for naming

Does anyone have any basic tips for naming coordination compounds? Anything to memorize just to make it a little easier?

Hello!
For me, I sort of do it in steps.
1) I look at what is find inside the brackets, anything inside the brackets are directly connected to the metal cation. I determine the ligand names and the number of each of those ligands. I write the prefix indicating the number followed by the ligand name in alphabetical order.
2) Determine the transition metal cation and it's oxidation state using it's lewis structure. Write that down after.
3) Look to see if there is anything outside the brackets. Write the anion name after.
4) Determine the number of hydration and put that at the very end.
