What is the difference between oxidation number and coordination number? For c. [PtCl2(en)2]^+2, the coordination is 6 because the rest of the compound could be bound in 6 places?

Oxidation number is the charge of atom due to tendency of electrons an atom can gain or lose or share. Coordination number is number of bonds it can form.
