17.1
Can someone please go through the problem 17.1 in the book? I'm getting confused on where to start, everytime we name a compound do we basically have to do lewis structures to find the charges for every part of the compound?

Well 17.1 was unassigned and unrelated to what we will be tested on so I assume you meant 17.29? Lewis structures aren't needed. This pdf is very helpful with naming compounds. Memorize it.
