Some structures have their roman numerals written after the name, but others have it in the middle of the name. Is there any particular reason for this?

Usually the Roman numeral is placed after the metal, which is specifying the charge of the particular metal. So, most of the time the Roman numeral is in the middle of the compound name, but I don't think there's particular reason for putting it after.

Often if the roman numeral is in the middle, it's because the part after is outside the coordination sphere, and would be listed after the metal.

Normally, the Roman numerals are written after the name of the compounds between the brackets so that you can specify the charge of the transition metal.

The Roman numeral represents the oxidation number for a transition metal and should go right after the name of the metal.
