Does it matter the order of the molecules in the complex? Like for 7th edit 9C3d, would it matter if (OH2)2 came before or after (C2O4)2 when writing the coordinate complex formula?

The lecture notes say that when naming coordinate compounds, ligand names are alphabetical order and then the transition metal cation name is written after the ligand name.
