When would you use bis, tri, tetrakis? And are we using it instead of di, tri, tetra, etc?

For naming, if a ligand is polydentate or already has a prefix, then you would use bis, tris, tetrakis, etc.

e.g. diethylenediamine would be written bisethylenediamine because DI is already in the name
