When naming a coordination compound
I know you name the ligand first but then is it the anion or transition metal?

First is ligand. Then transition metal cation name. If there are anoins, they go after.

The transition metal cation comes before the anion

the TM cation comes after the ligand names, and if there are any anions with a hydrate, anions follow the TM cation.

How do these topics come into question on the test? I don’t really understand the concept of naming these things and their application
