Is there a formula to follow while naming coordination compounds that tells us what comes first and so on?

Yes, it goes ligand names in alphabetical order(with greek prefixes denoting how many are present), the the transition metal cation name(with Roman numeral denoting the oxidation state), then, if there are anions, the anion name plus -hydrate(with Greek prefix denoting how many water molecules present per molecule)
