When naming complex ions I've noticed that some people use amine to represent (NH3), while some use ammine. Is there a difference? Does it matter which we use?

Also, I've noticed that dien and en use "amine" instead of ammine when writing out the full names of these structures: diethylenetriamine and ethylenediamine.

Ammine has to do with ligands and coordination compounds while amine has to do with derivatives of ammonia like NH3 or NH4

And while they are different you won't (at least according to my TA) won't be docked an entire point for it
