In resonance structures, how can we know the lengths of bonds in molecules?

The lengths of the bonds can be determined by how many electrons are bonded. That is why double bonds are shorter than single bonds, because the more electrons there are the stronger they pull to each other. To calculate bonds length you have to find the atomic radii of the bonded atoms and add them together. You can get the atomic radii from an atomic radius chart.
