Transition Metals

Postby Cassidy Kohlenberger 3D » Sat Nov 23, 2019 2:43 pm

Can someone explain what it means for a transition metal complex to be organometallic?

I think this means that the metal is inorganic but it is bound to organic ligands like diethyldiamine.

In an organometallic compound, there is at least one bond between a carbon (that's part of an organic molecule) and a metal.
