Replacing H2O

Postby Reagan Smith 1H » Sun Nov 24, 2019 5:21 pm

What are some examples of species that can replace H2O ligands to make coordination compounds, and how do you identify which ones will be able to replace it?

NH3 can replace the H2O in the coordination compounds. There are a few that can replace the H2Os.

Are we expected to know and identify which H2O ligands can be replaced with in the coordinate compounds?
