Transition Metals
Do all transition metals form coordination compounds or just the ones mentioned in lecture?

Because the transition metals are all good Lewis acids, they can all form coordination compounds, but I'm pretty sure he said we only need to concern ourselves with the first row.

everything talked about in lecture should apply to all of the transition metals because they have very similar properties and would therefore form similar bonds.

Yes. A striking property of d-block elements is that they are able to form coordination compounds.
