polydentate naming

Postby Elyssa Smith 4B » Sat Dec 07, 2019 4:44 pm

Does anyone know which of the ligands on the ligand naming sheet Lavelle gave us are polydentate and require the "bis, tris, tetrakis.." naming?

So far I have: EDTA, ethylene diamine, diethylene triamine, oxalato and carbonato. Are any of these errors/ should I add any?

I think those are good, but maybe also sulfato? I'm not really sure if sulfato is considered bidentate though
