Do we have to know how to draw DNA and RNA like structures or just know they use hydrogen bonding?

Re: DNA examples
Dr. Lavelle said in class today that we don't need to know how to draw DNA molecules (that is an organic chemistry concept). However, we do need to know that they form hydrogen bonds, and I think we need to know the specific hydrogen bond type (between a hydrogen and a nitrogen for the A=T bond). I would also say it might be important to know that A-T makes two hydrogen bonds, whereas G-C makes 3 hydrogen bonds. Hope that helps!

Re: DNA examples
I don't believe we need to know how to draw DNA and RNA as they are organic chemistry topics, but there possibly could be a question using it, but we would only need to determine the hydrogen bonds with in them, so just identifying the NOF's and lone pairs and seeing where the hydrogen bonds would go or if the ones provided are valid, similar to the achieve homework. :)
Re: DNA examples
Are there any specific questions on the Achieve homework or in the textbook that have helped to practice this concept?
