Vitamin B 12 function

Postby dinashirazi4O » Mon Dec 04, 2023 10:09 pm

I was looking at Outline 5, and it said we should be able to describe the biological function of Vitamin B12, but I am unaware of what it is. Could someone explain it to me? Thanks!

Cobalt is the transition metal associated with the production of Vitamin B12.

Chromium is the transition metal in charge of insulin action and glucose breakdown. Iron is in charge of oxygen transportation. Mn, Cu, Zn, and Ni are in charge of enzyme function.

Know these functions and you will have covered that bullet!
