What should we know about Vitamin B12 for the final?

I remember Dr. Lavelle mentioning that we should be familiar with any of the biological examples he mentions during lecture.

Vitamin B12 is in relation to cobalt as a coordination compound. I think you just have to know that cobalt is a transition metal and this is one of its biological functions.

It helps cells create DNA, as well as regulate metabolism. Also according to the book it's the only biological molecule that has a metal-carbon bond.
