How would you form a myoglobin molecule from the heme complex?

It is formed from a polypetide change and a heme ligand. 4 of these myglobins form form a hemoglobin.

A myoglobin is formed when the heme complex binds to both a protein group and an oxygen molecule, which is why the heme complex is important for supporting oxygen transport in the body. Oxygen and the protein is able to bind because the Fe2+ cation in the heme complex has two available binding spots.
