Kp and n

Postby Jaime_Chamberlain_3G » Thu Nov 17, 2016 9:46 am

For the equilibrium constant Kp, the equation is Kp= Kc(RT)^delta n. For delta n, do you use all of the moles in the reaction (solids, liquids, and gases) or just count the moles for the gases?

You would omit solids and liquids, including only gases and aqueous compounds.
