At 500.K, the equilibrium constant for the reaction Cl2(g)+Br2(g)=2BrCl(g) is Kc=0.031. If the equilibrium composition is 0.495 mol/L Cl2 and 0.145 mol/L BrCl, what is the equilibrium concentration of Br2?

What does 500.K mean? And how does that affect the result?

500.K is referring to the temperature. 500 Kelvin

As stated above 500K is the temperature in Kelvin and it affects the problem in some cases because the equilibrium constant will be different at a different temperature.
