Chemical Equilibrium True/False

Determine whether the following statements are true or false:
a. When chemical equilibrium is reached, the composition of the reaction mixture remains constant.
b. If we make a reaction go faster, we can increase the amount of product at equilibrium.

At equilibrium, the concentrations of reactants and products are relatively constant, though forward and backward reactions still occur. If you make the reaction faster, say by lowering the activation energy, you can increase the equilibrium constant and increase amount of products relative to reactants at equilibrium.

Hi! During last night's review session, there was a True/False question that stated "For a given reaction, changing temperature is the only way to change K" (#41). The answer was true. If you lower the activation energy, does that in turn change the temperature of the system? I'm just a bit confused because this sounds like another way to change the equilibrium constant aside from temperature.Thanks in advance!
