Do homework questions count towards our weekly 3 discussion points?

Homework questions are a separate category. We get 7 points a week for homework and 3 points a week for chemistry community posts, given that you do all of them.

There are 7 points each week denoted to completing 7 homework questions from the textbook. In addition to that, 3 points are rewarded each week in reflection to 3 posts being made on Chemistry Community. The 7 problems will be due in your discussion section while the posts must be made before midnight on Sunday.

I understand that homework points are separate. But can you ask questions on chemistry community about homework and have that count toward your 3 points?

Yes, I believe any sort of post on here counts towards your 3 points a week for chemistry community, including questions about homework problems

Posting on Chemistry Community can take on many forms. You can ask a question about lecture, discussion, textbook problems, homework, and even administrative questions such as study groups. In addition, you can answer people's questions or add onto an existing discussion. Any substantial post will count towards your 3 post per week quota that refreshes every Sunday.

Homework questions are 7 points a week (70 points per quarter) and the 3 chemistry community posts are 3 points a week (30 points per quarter).

No. You earn three points per week for chemistry community posts (1 point per posts for up to 3 points a week) and then 7 points a week for homework problems (1 point per problem).

Discussion posts count as three points per week, and homework papers count as seven points per week respectively. They are different.
