ICE tables with initial values products

Postby Jordan_Wesson_2J » Thu Jan 10, 2019 5:52 pm

Using the ATP +H2O <> ADP + Pi reaction example from class, if there were to have been initial values for ADP and Pi would you add them together and then add that value to the change in molarity?

If there had been initial values for ADP or Pi, you would have added those values to the change each individual value underwent in order to find their equilibrium values.

When finding the equilibrium value for the molarity of a particular substance, add the change in molarity to the initial value of molarity to get the equilibrium value.
