5G.3 example from book

Postby paytonm1H » Sat Jan 12, 2019 10:07 pm

In example 5G.3 in the 7th edition (page 401), it asks to find the equilibrium constant using the net ionic equation. Can someone help me understand how to do this? Or is this even relevant to what we have gone over in lecture?
Thanks!

I believe the net ionic equation is used to calculate K because spectator ions are not included when calculating K.

you have to get the net ionic equation and then use that to find K. Also, solids and liquids are not included in K.
