Ionization and deprotonation

Are ionization and deprotonation the same thing, and are "% ionization" and "% deprotonation" calculated the same way? The two terms seem to be used interchangeably

Yes. The two terms mean the exact same thing.

They mean the same thing but I believe we will be more likely to see percent ionization on a test.

They are often used interchangeably because they are the same thing, although its more common to see ionization
