When is Ka2 considered negligible when performing calculations with polyprotic acids?

Ka2 is considered negligible when it is significantly smaller than Ka1. Unfortunately, I don't there is an actual cut off so I don't think you have to worry too much about.

Usually problems that will have you consider the value of Ka2 will give you a Ka1 value that is considerably small, and may ask you to find Ka2 either the value or expression or both
